Ties that bind – Lebanese in Queensland

The Lebanese presence in Queensland stretches back to the 1880s. Who were these people and why did  they choose to make Queensland their home?

A collaboration between the Australian Lebanese Historical Society Inc. Queensland branch and the Royal Historical Society of Queensland, this exhibition explores the everyday life of the Lebanese society in Queensland from the 1880s, their difficulties, their pass time, their milestones, and their achievements. Content and material supervised and provided by Dr Anne Monsour, President of the Australian Lebanese Historical Society Inc.

The exhibition will be on display till the beginning of August 2017.
